Blake and Rose decide the precious time they have to plan for the upcoming war with Conquest is best spent airing out all their grievances. To cheer himself up, Blake then takes Tiffany on a romantic bike ride.

Blake challenges Conquest to a game of Practitioner chess. Considering the only chess reference made so far is in relation to Blake’s “pigeon strategy”, I think we’re in for a good time.

Blake gives his new recruits the 15 minute summary of Practitioning while also kind of receiving it himself. Afterwards he gets an opportunity to introduce them to all the big players in town who don’t like him… aka all the big players.

Blake convinces most of his friends to join the reverse MLM that is Practitioning. Ultimately, three of take the plunge, two don’t fully sign up but he gets their details, and only Joseph seemingly escapes this potential opportunity.

It’s the start of a new arc, and one with a really positive title. Blake finds friends, and makes friends.

We finish off the fifth arc with Conviction 5.x, which follows the romantic story of Fell’s grandparent’s courtship, and all the fun it caused the family later.

Blake definitely doesn’t rush into something that he’s unprepared for and almost die. At least, not that we can remember.

Blake and Rose make their plans to tackle the third and final Conquest challenge. Luckily they’re both on the same page about everything.

Blake and Rose are back to bickering about things, but I’m sure Blake will actually listen to what she has to say for once.
